Description
Somehow in our haste to create a "proper" 2D fitting package we failed to provide for the classical oriented 1D fitting to sector slices for example. If the sector is provided this could be done with the 2D and averaged behind the scenes as a sector mask to give the properly "smeared" 1D oriented model. Probably should also provide for the singles slice (no averaging) option for quick and dirty checks.
Steve King suggests we could use this to build a wizard that helps the user to find the best starting parameters for the full 2D fit and in fact guides the user through the process of a 2D fit.
