Jessica Tumarkin, a DANSE intern in the summer of 2011 set up and then generated Sphinx developer documentation which can be accessed as static web pages on the UTK DANSE site. However, they are already getting obsolete and will continue to do so unless people update them every time a new commit is made to the repo (probably not sustainable) or we build some scripts into the system that auto-generate (and then post appropiately) the appropriate documentation when things are committed.

Mathieu Doucet has agreed to take a first look at what might be involved

All the documentation needs to be reviewed and updated:

• Many things are now dated - particularly true of Tutorial
• Many new things are not documented - particularly true of tutorial
• Some things are not documented (slipped through the cracks) such as the residual plot and how it is calculated.
• We need to provide some documentation of how some 3rd party modules work such as PARK
• English could be improved in all cases

Ralph Schweins has indicated that the clarity could be improved and better references provided. Ralph should be consulted as well as David Mildner on this.

Certainly the equations should be redone at higher resolution.
